The Innisfail Health Service District which extends from Fishery Falls to Cardwell, services a population of approximately 35,000 people. The district offers a wide range of health services, with the management and administration centre based at Innisfail Hospital. The three major public hospitals are located in Tully, Innisfail, and Babinda. The table below provides a summary of facilities.

The Innisfail Health Service District offers a Phase 2 Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. It is a comprehensive education and exercise program designed for cardiac patients recently discharged from hospital and encourages involvement of spouse/family.
